Albert died in July 1997, in Hunters Creek Nursing Home, at the age of 75. He is probably best remembered as landlord of the Still, in Boston’s Market Place, where he was licensee for nearly 30 years.
During the war, from 1941 to 1946 he served in the RAF.
His funeral service was held in St Botolph’s Church, followed by cremation.
He leaves his wife, Dorothy, 2 sons, 3 daughters, 10 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
