The Art and Music Block was built in 1997. It was officially opened on 10th December 1997 by Mrs Brenda Medlock, whose husband Dr. Len Medlock, through the Len Medlock Trust, had donated £250,000 to the project.

The suite contains the following facilities, all of which are on the ground floor:

  • Two spacious art classrooms with a view of the school field.
  • One large music classroom.
  • Five music practice rooms.

Prior to completion of this dedicated block, art and music were taught in a variety of rooms around the school.
