David J Gould was educated at Boston Grammar School (1970s).

Obituary

From the August 2000 issue of The Old Bostonian

David died tragically at his home in Boston at the age of 37. He was born in Boston and lived in the town all his life. His school days were spent at Staniland, St Mary’s and BGS.

He worked for 17 years for the Halifax Building Society as a mortgage consultant, first in Boston and latterly, Lincoln. David was a keen supporter of Boston United and rarely missed a match. His many other interests included astronomy, travel, gardening. quizzes, cricket and badminton.

Friends and colleagues from the Halifax in Boston, Lincoln and other branches attended the funeral, along with team mates from the Ship Tavern quiz and cricket teams With them, his family and many other friends filled Boston Crematorium to overfiowing The service was conducted by David Taylor.

David was a single man and leaves his parents, John and Pauline and his brother Ian.
