Geoffrey, aged 66 and formerly of Boston, died on 9th January at Sudbrooke near Lincoln. He came to Boston in 1946 when his father was appointed Chief of the Fire Service. He attended BGS until 1950.

After National Service in the RAF from 1952-54, he returned to Lloyds Bank and was soon promoted to assistant manager in Lincoln. Promotions followed to the Staff College, Kingswood, deputy manager in the Carlton Street branch, Nottingham, before being Senior Manager in Lincoln. He retired due to ill health in 1991.

He married Paula Topper in 1957, whom he leaves, together with daughter Sharon, son Adrian and his mother who still lives in Boston.
