Jack died suddenly at his home in Ralphs Lane, Frampton Fen in early January. He was aged 76. He was born in Frampton West and lived and farmed in that area all his life.
He took an active part in local affairs. For 38 years he was a member of Frampton Parish Council, and for many years on St Michael's Church Committee and was a member of the NFU Smallholders' Committee.
The funeral service took place at St Michael's Church, Frampton, followed by cremation at Boston. The Rev Richard Ireson officiated.
He leaves his wife Ruby and three sons, David. Andrew and Mark.
