Obituary
From the Autumn/Winter 2003 issue of The Old Bostonian
Jack Hall, of Princess Anne Road, Boston, died in Grantham and District Hospital, aged 79.
Born in Boston, he lived in the town all his life, and after leaving BGS became a draughtsman with the railway.
At the outbreak of the Second World War he joined the army and became a radio operator, parachuting behind enemy lines in the Japanese “theatre of war”. After the war he joined his father, Thomas Hall, in the family decorating business, finally becoming area manager with JD Tighe until retiring after suffering a heart attack.
He was a keen caravanner and founder member of Lincolnshire Sterling Owners' Club[1].
