Thomas Homer was appointed as headmaster of Boston Grammar School on 6 July 1825 and remained until 1850.
Early Life
He was the son of Thomas Homer, gentleman of Coventry and was educated at Reading School. He went up to Magdalene Hall, Oxford in 1812, moving to Trinity College, Cambridge in 1815 and was ordained priest in 1819.
Before BGS
He spent six years as senior assistant master at Cheam School then he was second master at Sheffield Grammar School, before coming to Boston.
After BGS
Based on the 1851 and 1861 census he was Vicar of Freiston with Butterwick.
