Simon Meeds (BGS 1976-84)
I came to BGS from Woad Farm Junior School (now St Nicholas).
My extra-curricular activities were:
After BGS I studied Computer Science at Portsmouth Polytechnic (1984-88) - now the University of Portsmouth.
My career so far has been mainly in Mobile Telecommunications.
I am a member of the Old Bostonian Association, having been elected a Vice President. I was web master for the Association from 1999 to 2017 and was editor of its magazine, The Old Bostonian, from 2000 to 2011. I returned to the editorship in 2013 following the death of Paul Mould and edited the magazine again until 2016. OBA President Dan Elkington took over as editor in 2017. When Dan left the committee in 2018 it was too late to rescue the magazine so there was no issue that year. I edited it again in 2019.
I hope you enjoy this Wiki and the Association's web site.
