Hello John. Thank you for accepting my invitation. Simon Meeds 00:45, 7 October 2012 (BST)

Hello John. It's great to see you (or anyone) editing the wiki. Please don't be put off if I tidy or reorganise what you've done; that's the way wikis work. You can't really do anything permanently destructive since there's always a record of what was there before, nevertheless, when editing an article, please try not to delete the content that was there before you started work on it, unless of course it's incorrect. When you select "edit" you should see the current text of the article and that's where you will usually start from. Thank you. Simon Meeds 20:36, 7 October 2012 (BST)

Just another thought. When you add a comment to a discussion page, if you put "~~~~" (without the quotes) immediately after the comment it will add your username and the date and time you added the comment. It just makes it easy to see what's happening and who's commenting. Thank you. Simon Meeds 20:51, 7 October 2012 (BST)
