Nicholas Vernon Fitton was a teacher of English at Boston Grammar School. Nick arrived at BGS in 1986 and finally left in 2010. At some time during that range he and his wife Hilary Fitton spent two or three years teaching at a school in Humberside (possibly 1991-1994).

Nick founded and ran the Pike Fishing Club and the Jazz Band.
