To date the school has had two purpose-built Dining Halls.

First Dining Hall

The school's first Dining Hall was built in the late 1940s, and was usually referred to as the 'Canteen'. It was located close to Rowley Road, north of the Beast Mart yard.

It was demolished in 1984 upon completion of the second Dining Hall. The Design and Technology Block was built in its place shortly afterwards.

Second Dining Hall

Work began on a new Dining Hall in summer 1983, along with adjoining corridors to link it to the rest of the school. The block was designed by Keith Stevens and was completed in September 1984.
