This prize is named after George Bagley, a BGS alumnus and the author of Floreat Bostona. It was originally awarded for high quality coursework in English and History.

2019 - "Awarded this year for the highest grades in English and History"

It is usually awarded to one student but is sometimes split into separate awards for the two subjects.
