Nicholas Vernon Fitton was a teacher of English at Boston Grammar School (1985-2010 with a two or three year break).

Nick arrived at BGS in 1985 and retired in 2010. At some point during that time period he and his wife Hilary Fitton spent two or three years teaching at a school in Humberside (possibly 1991-1994).

Nick founded and ran the Pike Fishing Club and the Jazz Band.
