The Sixth Form Block was completed in February 1993 as a dedicated centre for the use of Sixth Form students. Construction work began in January 1992. It was officially opened by BGS alumnus Dr Len Medlock, who had helped fund the building through the Medlock Charitable Trust.
The contractor for the work was R G Carter of Grimsby, and the overall cost was over £300,000.
