Nicholas Vernon Fitton was a teacher of English at Boston Grammar School.
He was educated at Malvern College, Worcestershire, where he was a contemporary of Jeremy Paxman.
Nick arrived at BGS in 1985 and retired in 2010. From late 1990, he and his wife Hilary Fitton spent time teaching at a school in Humberside, returning to BGS in early 1992.
