Awarded for high performance in science, this prize is named after Herbert Matthew Dickson.
Dickson taught science at BGS for 35 years, from 1927 to 1962. The prize was first awarded in 1962 - the year he retired.
In 2023 it was renamed to The Enderby and Hallgate Prize.
