Margaret Anne Tamlyn was a teacher of English at Boston Grammar School (February to April 1915).
Tamlyn was the first of a number of women teachers to arrive at the school to fill vacancies left by men joining the armed forces and more normal staff movements. She is believed to have been the first female member of staff in the school's history.
She was paid £25 for a half-term's service as fourth form English teacher and form mistress of form two and the remove, from February to April 1915.
