Anthony Edwin Coxon was teacher of Latin at Boston Grammar School from 1973 to 1974, after which time he moved to Boston High School.
As well as teaching the violin he was known for playing the musical saw.
Some Boston Grammar School boys got to know him even after his departure as one of the staff members accompanying joint BGS / BHS classics trips such as the 1978 trip to "Roman France".
