John Anthony Clutterbuck was a teacher of Classics and Religious Education at Boston Grammar School from 1976 to 1985.
John Clutterbuck took over the running of the school Philatelic Society on the departure of Christopher John Phillips.
His teaching career started in 1969. After 9 years at Boston Grammar School and gaining a TEFL certificate, Clutterbuck moved to Athens, Greece in 1986 to teach English as a foreign language. 1992-94 was spent in Senai, Japan, also teaching English. In 1994 he returned to Greece, living in Piraeus and continuing to teach. Since June 2012 he has taken only private lessons.
