The Morley Victor Ludorum is awarded for junior sport, and was funded by the local J.Morley Sports retailer. "Victor Ludorum" is Latin, meaning "Winner of the games".
The prize has also been referred to as "Morley's Junior Sports Award" and "Morley's (Junior) Victor Ludorum".
