John D Sharman was educated at Boston Grammar School (1950-58), and won the Parry Gold Medal in 1958.
John is the father of chemist and cosmonaut, Helen Sharman.
He attended the 1994 Annual Prize Giving Ceremony at the Centenary Methodist Church with his daughter, Helen and gave out GCSE certificates.
