The Sixth Form Block was built in 1993 as a dedicated centre for the use of Sixth Form students. It was opened by Dr Len Medlock who had helped fund the building through the Len Medlock Trust.
It is situated where the bike sheds and the swimming pool used to be. The Sixth Form Block is internally connected to the main school (intersecting close to the Junior Common Room), and its primary entrance opens onto the Mart Yard.
Since opening, it has been periodically improved and extended. In the mid 2000s a ground floor conference room was added. In 2018 a first floor extension was opened by David Medlock, the son of Len Medlock.
