Thomas Mitchinson was the Second Master of Boston Grammar School from roughly 1815 to 1820, under the headship of John Banks.
He is mentioned in an 1818 book, "A Concise Description of the Endowed Grammar Schools in England and Wales" (Volume 1), written by Nicholas Carlisle:
