The Sports Hall was opened in 1977, and is located close to the main Assembly Hall.
Prehistory
Early in 1971 it was reported that there was a scheme to build a gymnasium for the joint use of the school and Boston College of Further Education. The governors objected because of anticipated administrative difficulties and also as the school had been promised a gymnasium of its own for some time.
