Philip John Priestley CBE FRSA (born 29 August 1946) is a former British diplomat. He was educated at Boston Grammar School (1957-1965).

At BGS he was Head Prefect (1964-1965), House Captain, S./Sgt., CCF, Librarian, Debating Society Committee, Captain 2nd XI Cricket, 17-19 Holland Schools Athletics.

He was educated at Boston Grammar School and at the University of East Anglia (BA Hons). He joined the Foreign and Commonwealth Office in 1969. His roles were:
