Jack Bates OBE

Jack Bates OBE was educated at Boston Grammar School (1933-41). He was in Parry House.

The 1942 issue of The Bostonian reported that Bated had been playing cricket regularly for Nottingham University, and had acted as twelfth man for a Combined Universities Eleven.
