Simon Dickinson (BGS 1986-91) – 25 years of driving for Aston Martin, working with the Bond franchise and overtaking Lando Norris

After attending BGS between 1986 and 1991 his “very average” motor sport career opened the door to working for over a dozen major motor manufacturers, but mainly for Aston Martin, doing something he had a passion for: driving.

This led to him working all over the world at test tracks and motor sport circuits, setting up new Aston Martin dealerships, meeting celebrities and being involved with the promotion of the Bond franchise.

Aston Martin’s re-entry into Formula One with Red Bull Racing in 2017 led him to driving on Grand Prix weekends, demonstrating road cars alongside F1 drivers including Verstappen, Alonso, and Norris.

Join us at the OBA dinner and hear Simon Dickinson share his remarkable story
