The Boston Grammar School Design and Technology department has a successful team of students taking part in the Greenpower.
The Greenpower Education Trust aims to inspire young people around the world to excel in Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths through a unique challenge: to design, build and race an electric car.
is a UK based charity with an outstanding track record in kick starting careers in engineering. We help unlock potential and spark enthusiasm for Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths (STEM) through the excitement of motorsport.
In the last year the Old Bostonian Association has granted the Boston Grammar School Greenpower team money which has been useful in developing the car, knows as the Boston Bullet. This is a really exciting, inspiring endeavour for BGS students, but it comes at some significant expense. Apart from the considerable cost of developing the car, which is an ongoing activity, it costs the team at least £300 to enter a race day.
Would you or your business be able to provide sponsorship for the Boston Grammar School Greenpower team? If so, contact Luke Anderson, the Old Bostonian Association President to enquire what you can do to help.
