Frederick Firman was Second Master at Boston Grammar School (1850-1863).
He lived with his wife Sarah Ann in Pen Street, Boston, later moving to South End. Their son, Frederick B F Firman, was educated at Boston Grammar School, was ordained like his father, and also went into the teaching profession.
