The funeral service for Benjamin John Teesdale, whose tragic death was reported in September 2001, has taken place at St Thomas' Church, Boston. Benjamin, who was 13, was a pupil at BGS.
He was born in Ashington, Northumberland and had lived in Wyberton for two and a half years. He had been a regular visitor to Boston since his birth, visiting his grandparents and other family. He was a member of St John Ambulance and Boston Judo Club.
The Rev Christopher Dalliston conducted the service. School friends from BGS and BHS and many members of St John Ambulance also attended the funeral.
