The [[Boston Grammar School have just completed one of the most successful seasons of recent years as evidenced by the fact that neither '(sic)' of the three teams - the first eleven, the second eleven, and the eleven under 14 - has lost one of the matches played. The goals scored for the teams totalled 103, and 28 were registered against them.

The record of the first eleven a picture of whom appears above, played ten matched three of which resulted in a draw; they scored 58 goals, with 24 against them. When they met Lincoln Grammar School at home they won by the odd goal in five and in the "away" fixture they drew 3-3.
