Charles J Palmer was educated at Boston Grammar School.
Palmer's father was Charles, a commercial traveller in the leather trade living at 6 Pen Street, Boston.
He was one of the eighteen Old Boys who met at Anderton’s Hotel, Fleet Street, London[1] on 20th April 1900. As a result of which meeting the Old Bostonian Club was inaugurated.
