Christian Union
The 1968 issue of the Bostonian magazine includes a report from the Christian Union which includes this description:
At the beginning of this year's spring term, the Christian Union was re-formed. The meetings were held on a Wednesday, but this school year they are to be held on Tuesdays.
The meetings take several forms including Bible studies, discussions and guest speakers whom the Christian Union would like to thank for coming along; especially Martin Osborne, one of our old boys, who has been called by the Lord to work in a children's home. We also had two joint meetings with the High School, when the Rev Render came along and gave us a talk on China, and Miss Potter gave a talk on her missionary work in India, the latter being at the High School. It is hoped that we shall have more meetings with them.
Our greatest difficulty has been arousing interest among the School members to come along and discuss Christianity (whatever their views are). It is hoped that the Christian Union will become more a part of the School and not segregated as some distinct "sect" who are supposed to have "peculiar" ideas."
