The week before Christmas Peter died in a fire at his home. Aged 28, he was found dead in his hallway by a friend who was concerned about him. The fire brigade said that the fire, thought to have started as a chip pan blaze, had burned itself out and the building was cold and free of smoke when they arrived. The Coroner was informed, an inquest opened and adjourned until a date to be fixed.

Peter had been a salesman and van driver for HGV of Marsh Lane since last September. Before that he had worked for H and I Garages, Fengates of Peterborough and U-Haul of Wigtoft.

His mother said that he was recently getting over his divorce after moving to the Graylings in April last year.

Peter was very outgoing and very independent. He enjoyed night-clubbing, computer games and watching Boston United. He was also a keen supporter of Manchester United.

Peter leaves a father Bernard, mother Doreen, two brothers Richard and Julian and sister Dawn. The funeral service was held at Boston Stump on Friday 27 December.
