William McNeill was a teacher of mathematics and French at Boston Grammar School, 1945-1958.
Before arriving at BGS, McNeill had taught at Kilkenny College (1916-1917); Sligo Grammar School (1917-1919); Morne Grange (1919-1922); St Michael's College, Tenbury Wells (1925-1931); Ballymena Academy (1934-1935); Arnold Lodge, Leamington Spa (1937-1938); Ascham House, Gosforth (1938-1942); and King's School, Grantham (1942-1945).
