The House Masters' Cup was awarded to the competitor who had gained the greatest number of individual points for his House in the annual athletics competition (Sports Day). It was first presented in 1920.

An account of the 1920 Sports Day in the Lincolnshire Standard contains the following reference:

"A Cup was presented by the three house masters (Hill, Briggs and Cox), to be held for a year by the boy gaining most marks for his house, and the first winner was Ford, of Briggs' House, with 15 points, Turner and Vass having 11 points each."
